Midnight Feature Season 2 arrives on FOUND TV this September with five new found footage horror episodes released across two dates.
Found footage horror anthology Midnight Feature is back for a second season, and this time the series is heading to FOUND TV as part of the streaming service’s growing lineup of FOUND Originals.
Season 2 premieres this September with five new episodes, giving found footage fans another batch of low-budget horror that looks like it probably should have stayed buried somewhere.
The first two episodes arrive on September 15, followed by the final three episodes on September 22.
The series comes from Horror Dadz Productions, the independent horror outfit behind movies including Lights Over Montgomery County, Primal Darkness, Tahoe Joe and I Hate Found Footage.
Midnight Feature is built around a collection of different found footage stories rather than one continuing narrative, giving the filmmakers room to play around with different approaches to the format.
Five New Episodes Are Coming
Season 2 features five new episodes from filmmakers Dustin Tamplen, Dillon Brown, Michael Rock and Nomar Mendoza, and FOUND TV is splitting the season across two September dates rather than dropping everything at once.
September 15 – Episodes 1 and 2
September 22 – Episodes 3, 4 and 5
So you’ll get the first half of the season just as the Halloween buildup is starting to get going, followed by the remaining episodes a week later.
The acquisition also fits pretty neatly into what FOUND TV is doing with its programming – the service is specifically focused on found footage and first-person horror, with its lineup covering everything from traditional handheld footage to screenlife and other formats designed to make the viewer feel like they’re watching something they weren’t supposed to find.
