Archives From Hell: The Making of Demo_N Comes to FOUND TV On October 20

The story behind one of FOUND TV’s more unusual found-footage projects is getting its own documentary treatment.

Archives From Hell: The Making of Demo_N is coming to FOUND TV on October 20, 2026, taking viewers behind the scenes of Demo_N and the process of turning a small horror project built around a cursed video game into a feature film and an entire multimedia project.

Directed by Gary Francis Roche, Demo_N began life as a short film before being developed into a feature, where Roche handled much of the filmmaking himself, including acting, editing, animation and sound design, with the project eventually expanding beyond the movie itself.

That DIY approach is a major part of the story behind Demo_N. Roche originally created the short while between industry jobs as a way of continuing to make films, using his own desktop and the idea of a retro video game with a supernatural side effect as the starting point, and the project was later developed with Richard Charlton, who helped turn the short into a feature screenplay.

The fictional game at the centre of Demo_N also became a real playable project.

Tag! You’re Dead was released as an actual game on Steam, allowing the concept from the movie to exist outside the film itself – FOUND TV subsequently used the game as part of its expansion into indie horror gaming, making Demo_N more than just another found-footage release for the platform.

Archives From Hell now looks set to dig into how all of that came together, documenting the filmmaking process and the challenges involved in taking the project from its original short-film idea to a feature and accompanying game.

FOUND TV has already positioned Demo_N as one of its notable projects, with the service carrying the feature alongside the original short and the playable game – Roche has also confirmed that the documentary series has been completed, following promotion for Demo_N during the UK festival circuit.
