What if the last surviving evidence from a horrific police incident wasn’t a witness statement or a crime-scene photograph, but the footage recorded by the officer’s own body camera – that’s the idea behind Officer Grey, an upcoming found-footage horror film built around the mysterious case of Officer Sarah Grey, who is allegedly responsible for killing five fellow officers before taking her own life, but the recovered footage supposedly tells a very different story.
Officer Grey is scheduled for release on October 25, 2026.
Five Officers Are Dead – But the Footage Doesn’t Explain Why
Sarah Grey has become known for an apparently inexplicable act of violence against her fellow officers, and with Grey dead, the public is left with a simple version of what happened – until her body-camera recordings are recovered and released.
Brent Trayce Sands serves as writer and director, with Andrew Johnston handling cinematography, and the film is being produced by Impound Comics, with a reported runtime of approximately one hour, making Officer Grey a relatively compact found-footage horror experience.
The cast includes Unissa Cruse, Derek Casper and Orianna Fancher, where the film is scheduled to arrive on October 25, 2026, placing its release just days before Halloween, and there are also limited California theatrical screenings scheduled around the film’s October rollout, including a Sacramento premiere listed for October 18 and a Santa Monica event listed for October 22.
