‘Welcome Back to My Channel’ Comes to VOD October 25

Australian found-footage horror Welcome Back to My Channel is finally heading to VOD, with the 2025 indie horror movie arriving on October 25 – written and directed by Jorrden Daley, the 94-minute horror film takes the increasingly familiar world of influencer culture and throws it into the Australian wilderness – where things get considerably less Instagram-friendly.

The movie stars Meg Fraser and Bryn Chapman Parish as an influencer couple whose camping trip turns into a nightmare after they encounter a lost child and a seriously messed-up family.

And yes, that family has a rather unpleasant habit of eating people.

Welcome Back to My Channel Brings Influencer Horror To The Outback

The movie follows Suki, an Australian influencer, and her American boyfriend Leo, who head off on a camping trip while documenting their lives for their online audience, where things are already complicated when Leo’s prankster friend Cass gets involved, but the real trouble starts when the couple discovers a lost little girl.

They soon find themselves dealing with the girl’s family – and these aren’t exactly the kind of people you want turning up at your campsite, because the family are cannibals.

The film uses a mixture of found-footage sources, including footage from cameras used by the characters as well as police body cameras and security footage.

The movie was made as an independent Australian production, with Jill Kingston producing and Jack Shepherd serving as director of photography, where Keenan Walker also stars alongside Fraser and Chapman Parish, and the production has already picked up attention on the festival circuit, premiering at SXSW Sydney in October 2025, where it was shortlisted for the Best Feature Award.
