Tahoe Joe 3: Concrete Wilderness (2025) Review

Synopsis

After the events of Tahoe Joe 2, filmmakers Michael Rock and Dillon Brown race against the clock to outrun a corrupt organization trying to capture the legendary Sasquatch creature called “Tahoe Joe.”

Good points

• It definitely leans into the shaky, “you’re there in the moment” feeling, which might not be for everyone, but I liked the immersion a lot here
  
  
• The sound design is solid – loud, heavy, and pretty effective at making scenes feel tense
  
  
• The night-vision and low-light shots do a good job of building the atmosphere, even when you can’t see everything clearly
  
  
• The performances don’t feel overly acted

A messy but pretty fun ride, and it’s very aware of what it is — shaky, loud, chaotic found-footage horror.

But it’s also won’t be the easiest watch for a lot of people, with all the camera shakes, darkness, and constant noise, but I thought it had some strong energy and atmosphere, but was also very rough around the edges.
