Shudder Becomes Exclusive Streaming Home of the Hell House LLC Franchise

Shudder becomes the exclusive streaming home of the Hell House LLC franchise.

Shudder has secured exclusive streaming rights to the Hell House LLC franchise through 2029, keeping the horror series on the platform for the next few years.

The deal comes as the original Hell House LLC gets ready for a 10th-anniversary theatrical release – released in 2015, the film has become a favorite among found-footage horror fans, spawning several sequels and turning the Abaddon Hotel into one of the genre’s better-known locations.

While the sequels have been a mixed bag, they have all added more to the story, with the original still the one that gets the most attention, though, and the upcoming anniversary release should give it another chance to find an audience on the big screen.

With Shudder holding the exclusive streaming rights until 2029, the whole franchise has a home for the foreseeable future. Not bad for a found-footage film that started out back in 2015.
