Project MKHEXE, a new psychological horror-thriller film, will begin streaming exclusively on SCREAMBOX, from Tuesday, April 29th.

The film, written and directed by Gerald Waddell, stars Ignacyo Matynia, Jordan Knapp, Will Jandro, Jennifer Lynn O’Hara, Dwayne Tarver, Sebla Demirbas, Katrina Eroen, and Joe Solana Simon.

The story centers on Tim, an aspiring filmmaker whose world is turned upside down after the sudden suicide of his brother, Sean, and while going through Sean’s personal effects, Tim uncovers a disturbing obsession: Sean had been investigating a mysterious urban legend, one tied to a secret mind-control experiment that had been buried for years.

As Tim follows the trail Sean left behind, including cryptic notes and interviews with those who knew him, he begins to suspect something far worse: that Sean’s death was no suicide at all, but a carefully staged murder.

With Sean’s friend Nicole by his side, Tim’s search for the truth drags him deeper into darkness, before he comes to realize a horrifying truth.

The mystery began when a homemade documentary about the experiment surfaced online in 2014, only to vanish days later without explanation.
