Hell House LLC: Lineage now has an official theatrical teaser trailer.
Teaser Trailer + Plot
A new theatrical teaser trailer has been released for Hell House LLC: Lineage which you can watch here.
The plot for the film reads:
Haunted by visions and recurring nightmares years after a near-death experience, Vanessa Shepard finds herself living in the town of Abaddon, unable to break free from its unexplainable hold on her.
When people around her suddenly and inexplicably begin to die, she soon uncovers her terrifying connection to the Abaddon Hotel, the Carmichael Manor and the mysterious murders that have been occurring for decades.
Stephen Cognetti Discusses New Film + Limited Theater Release
So it seems the new Hell House LLC film, which will stream on Shudder sometime in October, will be getting a limited theatrical run in August, but no exact dates or more information is available right now.
And director Stephen Cognetti has confirmed the film won’t be shot in found footage format.
This is by far the biggest Hell House of the series, so experiencing it in a theater is definitely the best way to consume the final chapter. For the story, scope and scares I wanted to write in Lineage, found footage was going to be too restrictive to make the film that I wanted to make. I set out to make a Hell House movie like you’ve never seen and I promise you won’t be disappointed in the change of format.
New Images + Ditches Found Footage Style?
So, we finally have some updates on Hell House LLC: Lineage, with new images and news that it apparently will be ditching the found footage style.
In a post on Reddit, a screenshot was posted with a conversation between Cognetti and a Reddit user, where he has said the found footage style has been ditched to help “expand the story and make it scarier”.
Even if that turns out to be true, I will still be covering the film on this site, and reviewing it, because, you know?

About Hell House LLC: Lineage
Good news for Hell House LLC fans! Terror Films has announced a fifth movie titled Lineage, which will began filming in November 2024 and is set to release in October 2025, with and Stephen Cognetti returning as the writer and director.
This new installment will dive into the backstories of familiar characters while introducing new ones.
The last film, The Carmichael Manor was probably my 2nd favorite in the franchise, after the very first Hell House LLC which one of the best found footage movies you can watch.
If you haven’t caught up, the entire Hell House LLC series is streaming on Shudder.
A teaser for the upcoming movie has also been released as well, but apart from the trailer, not much else is yet known about the movie.
I will update this page as and when new information about Hell House LLC: Lineage gets released.
