‘Frogman’ is Getting a Sequel with ‘Frogman Returns’

So it has been announced that we are getting a sequel to Frogman, titled Frogman Returns.

You can see the official poster above, and watch the teaser trailer here, with the official synopsis simply reading:

There’s unfinished business in Loveland. Dallas, Amy, and Frogman are back to settle the score in FROGMAN RETURNS.

Anthony Cousins co-wrote the script with John Karsko, who also worked on Frogman, and the film will be produced by Cousins, Zechariah Thormodsgaard, Mikey Bill Taylor, and Zac Locke, with Peter Kuplowsky as executive producer.

Not much else is known right now about the film, but I will update the page as more information comes to light.

If you haven’t watched the first film, the official synopsis reads:

In 1999, a 12-year-old named Dallas Kyle captures footage of the mythical creature, Frogman, but no one believes it is real. Twenty years later, he returns to the same place with his friends to obtain irrefutable proof that it exists.

It currently sits at 5/10 on IMDB, and personally I wasn’t a huge fan but I liked certain parts of it and didn’t exactly dislike it, as it was fun but I didn’t vibe with it as much as some others.
